My Story
The best part of my job is helping people achieve their personal health goals, so they can lead a productive, fulfilling life without having to worry about their back and neck problems. It gives me a sense of meaning in life, and I am grateful to be in a position where I can truly make a difference in the lives of people in need.
During residency and fellowship, I have had the good fortune of being trained by some of the top orthopedic spine surgeons in the world, renowned and respected for their contributions to the field of spine surgery. I owe a great debt of gratitude to my mentors, without whom I would not be where I am today.
I aim to give my patients a candid, easy-to-understand assessment of their spinal condition, followed by a detailed discussion of how to achieve their desired goals. Sometimes this can be accomplished by nonoperative treatment, whereas other times (much less frequently) a surgery may be helpful.
Fortunately, most patients do not need surgery. In such cases, I can help design an excellent plan of nonoperative care.
